You can see on youtube well respected scientists showing how the eye evolved by using cardboard boxes and torches. Problem is that they are telling us that they know what has happened and it is as simple as that. They seem silly. They should be more stating the magnitude of our not knowing or understanding anything about the eyes existence or even toe nails. They are porporting a conviction that they know that eyes evolved. They noticeably don’t bring in any evidence that shows how they know. No evidence at all. Absolutely none. In fact not even a couple of fossils or a photograph of them or a link to web page showing evolution of eye. Nope. Nothing. Nothing at all.

This isn’t about obscure websites. These are BBC TV aired programmes with millions of viewers including children . Yes , it’s all entertaining watch. But we are shown by one or two people that they know that the eye evolved and how the eye evolved bit by bit. And more importantly according to the title in the first video below how sight evolved. That is seeing. Says “Evolution of sight.” Now just that should send alarm bells ringing. No one on earth knows anything about sight or seeing. We can only visualize with our eyes the physicality of an eye and it’s connections to the brain. We can’t say anything else.

So in the two minute clip below .. Starts with “The eye is a tremendously complex piece of machinery” Just that statement is daft. And where did that lens added on later come from. Just on the words though on later reflection , we have only the language we have got. And there aren’t many words available above ‘tremendous’ or ‘complex’ And the word ‘machinery’ could/can be used to describe a ‘fully functioning unit’ according to one dictionary but usually man made. Apologies to Brian there. Could just cut out my comments of course but it might help anyone else with what thoughts they are going through when watching/listening. In fact though , just using those words at the start gives the viewer little time to scrutinize those words or anything that follows.

Oh no. Watched it again. Says that the “interdependent” parts of the eye evolved in a series of small steps and that “we understand that process very well indeed.” That is not true. It is false. Nobody knows that a process exists or existed for a start , and nobody on earth “understands” a process like evolution of eyes or ears etc. And to know it “very well indeed” is especially not true. Then “I can show you by building an eye.” And then the full on nonsense.

I suppose it could be my wokiness thoughts are just evolving on just these videos. And tomorrow see something more convincing. But for now, no one “understands” at all any “process” of the eye or any other sensing organ all working together and evolving. Who is “we”. So children watching the below are told that a group of people known as ‘we’ know or understand the process of an eye evolving. And they know that process “very well indeed”
