Eggs and fruits and seeds. Extras page 5 of 6

Wikimedia Commons, Sheila1988 A few bird eggs that would have turned into different birds. Illegal to do now.

Do bird eggs have in them , on their own , the ability to turn into the bird that they turn into like a blackbird or a robin or a flamingo.
It’s not so much that the eggs laid by the birds turn into their own species , of course they do , but did eggs and all that is in them have to evolve to be able to turn into the birds that they turn into. That is , did the phenomena of the egg and it’s constituents that become different birds evolve to do what they do. That is , did the method itself of there being an egg to be the way to
It’s just quite hard to imagine that they would have to have all evolved in different forms and configurations to be successful. And they are all successful. That is paramount.
Same for fruits that contain the seeds that in a similar way to eggs , turn into their own type or species of plants that they grow into.

What is odd about it all , is why do they need a way to self populate. That is , why do they have to make the seeds or eggs to make themselves in the first place. Was there no other way. Obviously also , is that we produce our children using eggs too.

Keeping with the thinking about the evolution idea though, it just seems such a narrow field to think that those two ways to make more babies or trees and plants evolved. It’s not the physicality of the seeds or eggs in themselves , it’s that the seeds and eggs are the way used to allow for more babies and trees and plants. So it now would mean that there could be the theory of ways to make more of ones own self , be it a tree or plant or baby frog.

That means that nature has just about two main ways for life to produce more of itself. It uses either a seed or an egg. But we wouldn’t say that those two ways came about because those two ways evolved. We might think how do those two ways happen , and maybe why just those two ways , but we would not say that either way evolved.
There is some difference between an egg and a seed though. The shell on an egg stores the to be animal like a bird and the bird becomes a bird in the shell. The tree seed seems itself to be what turns into a tree. Perhaps the outer casing acts like the egg shell but there isn’t a little tree growing in the seed like there is a little bird growing in the egg shell.
There are of course those root vegetables that sprout their above ground plant like the carrot and potato plant. That might be considered a third way. But did those ways to do it , whichever way they do it , evolve to be able to do it.
That sort of means that the bird and the tree and vegetable all use a way to make more of themselves. That might mean that the way of doing it , is a separate phenomena.
In other words , a tree uses an existing way of seeds and a frog uses an existing way of eggs. That in itself has probably no reality in it , but we couldn’t say that that those ways that are there to make more trees or frogs don’t exist. It might be a language thing in thinking that trees or frogs use the way of seeds or eggs, but they do use those ways.
To think of a way to do something though would require a requirement to do something. So then we’d have to add to our other theories , the theory of requirement. The trees require bark to protect them and anteaters require a sticky tongue to catch ants , potatoes require a skin and a baby requires an egg.
