Thinking evolution is still worth thinking about page 2
Our idea of evolution is maybe a sort of thinking tool. A good one. But on it’s own it is a bit of a silly idea to think that any face evolved with eyes and ears and lips and teeth etc and then that millions of different animal species with different faces fancy the faces of their own species. Faces and fancying cannot be explained by our evolution theories. Common sense says that the different faces on just today’s eight million species of animals faces that like each others faces of their own species do not rely on random mutations and natural selection. Just that one phenomena of fancying seems like a given. Imagine that a new feature comes about on our face in the future. We just know that that is not going to happen. There would be some signs of it happening today. If we evolved from apes or monkeys or something before , then the face still has the same features. No new feature has been added to the face in that time , or taken away.
If any new features or senses or abilities or any body parts change or are added at a later stage then they would be added on in one go. The land animal pakicetus that supposedly turned into a whale in the sea is said to have evolved echolocation. It would be more likely that echolocation was too added on in one go , but what is much more likely is that it didn’t happen at all. Those pictures in museums of that happening are of conjectures gone wild. And then teeth in any animal surely don’t simply sit strongly in the gums of mouths using our evolution ideas.
However , when looking at humans , there are no skulls or skeletons found that show humans existed before say two to five or more million years ago. They would be there if humans existed before that time since there are fossils of dinosaurs from one hundred plus million years but no fossils of humans say from that time. It’s maybe possible to say that there were so few humans existing in those earlier times and so of course we wouldn’t find their skeletons. Infact there are only a handful of fossils that we hear of found in Africa.
Species galore will have existed but there is no evidence of them since there were so few of them. Maybe they could have come back when conditions were more favourable. Not sure if there is any evidence of that. But if all fossil evidence in England was viewed on it’s own then we would absolutely speculate that humans did go extinct numerous times and came back. Fact though is that the climate has changed loads of times to such cold conditions that humans in those times couldn’t survive. They would have come back from Europe when things were warmer. So it’s still in a sort of lumberland to say that humans just came into existence.
Thinking though more about phenomenas , ( not the physicalness of them , but the idea of them ) we would struggle to imagine that any phenomena evolved. There is no evidence to explain the phenomena of males and females or fruits or seeds or anything.
But humans did sort of turn up in a time period. Before that time period they almost definitely didn’t exist. And YouTube short clips show scientists displaying the skulls that they have collected of humans with the changes in size of the skull over two million years or more that allow a bigger brain to fit in. Need to look at them again. Maybe they are the skulls of different species of humans that existed and today only our species exists. Possible. ?? I presume though the skulls are from different time periods and the scientists think that one evolved into the other. Will have another watch.
But the thinking that animals did not evolve should not be discarded. The thinking of it should be part of any thinking. Phenomenas like hearing and sight and eggs and fruit and seeds and male and female , do exist. Then there is the variety of ways to make babies and trees and flowers , and all are phenomenas. But they do exist with physical bodies. Surely the physical bodies of say a whole animal or a seed or egg would use whatever the phenomenas use to exist. But yes , it is difficult to understand how the physicalities of chickens or humans or anything else just popped up. However , even if they started off as a single cell or a combination of chemicals , we’d still have to wonder whether the cell or chemicals evolved or just just popped up.
Last one on phenomenas , otherwise it would go on and on. The urge to eat rules. Every animal feels , or is made to feel hungry. That phenomena existed from day one. It , the hunger thing , whatever it is , clearly did not evolve. We would have to wonder how any animal gets the hunger feeling. Could almost imagine that all of life exists to eat and for all we know we might be feeding something else. More conjecture of course , but the feeling of hunger doesn’t seem to be a physical phenomena. Doesn’t matter which environment an animal has evolved in or popped up in , it is hungry.
And we don’t actually know what an animal is. They have all these body parts , but we wouldn’t say that any of those parts on their own are an animal. We think of all those parts together and then call it an animal. Can’t explain it , but every part of an animal seems to be there as a function. So quite what the animal actually is , is a mystery.
Maybe one more phenomena .. thinking feels so separate to a physical body. Thinking involves thinking. Thinking could be thought as another phenomena. When you have two people talking to each other and thinking about the same thing like what shall we have for dinner or have you heard the news , then we couldn’t construct anything evolutionary in that ability. It’s a stand out. We sort of imagine that over say two million years we have started with voice noises making grunts that turns into a full language to discuss the above.
But that’s quite some necessary communication to have relied on grunting. It might have happened that way , but ending up with communication of the level we have today with language we have , surely relied on more than just those grunts. It would mean that a process was in place. Of course though we do make new words all the time. But it isn’t that. The phenomena, not the physicality of it , seems more in charge than any physical evolution. And it’s hard to imagine that two million years ago there was no foresight as to how to turn those grunts into our language abilities today as it must have happened on other planets that have been in far longer existence than ours. . It’s also hard to imagine also that there is no foresight as to what happens to those grunts that we make today over the next two million years.
The thinking between the two people is surely nothing to do with evolution. To have two people communicating with each other like all other phenomenas , like talking to each other comfortably at two meters , is a precise or exact thing compared to the size of the universe. Then when we look at a spider or a fly , it’s hard not to think that they have always been that way. If they were some other species once upon a time , then any changes into what they are today would more likely be instantaneous than gradual. One wrong move by evolution , if it exists , would by now have wiped out all of the phenomenas like sight and fancying and all of the physicalities of life like animals , and all the trees on earth would just fall down. ( I must stop saying that all the trees on earth would just fall down)
Anyway, we only have to stand up and know that the heart pumps blood to the head and to the feet and that that ability is not reliant on random mutations and natural selection. We can stand up all day at work. Compared to the size of the universe, standing up is as comparable to the distance that our voice box volume gives. Things like that surely don’t rely on evolution. How would evolution do things like that in such a marginal scale.
The word evolution has seeped into our thoughts . In fact , it would mean that new organs and body parts and phenomenas like the senses, must be in the process of evolving in all animals today , but there isn’t in any of the millions of species existing today any sign of anything new developing. We would have to give evolution a magical property to initiate phenomenas or body parts.
Yes , the word initiate came to mind and have never used it before. But , if evolution exists and it gives or allows any animal more fur to survive , it feels like it would know what it is doing. But why would evolution exist as some sort of outside property to give the extra fur to the animal. More than likely is that evolution does not exist. It’s a human thought used to explain things , but sort of doesn’t explain anything. Not even a toe nail.
